Dental imaging has come a long way in the last decade. At Crosstown Dental of Hershey, we offer 3D digital imaging using a state-of-the-art Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) Machine.  It produces brilliant 3D images of all oral and maxillofacial structures. These precise images deliver the best diagnostic information so that your dentist has the ability to treat you at the highest level. If you are interested in dental implants or have an infection, this technology allows your dentist to safely and efficiently develop a treatment plan that keeps your health and well-being as our top priority.

There is no special preparation for 3D imaging and it’s pain-free.  Patients stand stationary for a few moments while the cone beam system rotates around the outside of the head. Hundreds of pictures form using that brief scan. These high definition images very accurately depict your teeth and jaws, showing your dentist the location of nerves, sinus, and other vital structures. From these digital images, we can develop a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan. Not all dental offices are equipped with these 3D cone beam machines, but at Crosstown Hershey, we feel that it is important to invest in the latest technology in order to provide the best care for our patients.

3D Dental X-rays are safe. You are exposed to a minimal amount of radiation during the quick process.
